I-Tip Stick Extensions — FAQ

How are I-tip extensions applied?

Two methods: hot fusion (keratin melted with a heating tool) or micro-bead (threaded through a bead and clamped). Both are professional salon techniques.

How long do the keratin bonds last?

3–4 months with proper maintenance. Avoid oil-based products near the bonds. Schedule maintenance every 4–6 weeks.

Can I-tips be reused?

No — keratin bonds are single-use. But we offer refill packs at the same quality. Order refills easily via WhatsApp when your client needs a touch-up.

How many sticks do I need per full head?

Typically 100–150 sticks for a full head (1–2 packs of 100g each depending on desired volume). We can help calculate based on your client's hair density.

What's the difference between I-tip and U-tip?

I-tip uses straight keratin bonds. U-tip (nail tip) uses curved bonds for different attachment angles. We produce both. Contact us for U-tip samples.

Can I offer I-tip extensions as a salon service?

Absolutely. We supply salon programs with training guides, color rings, and display samples. Bulk pricing tiers from 50 packs. Contact us for a wholesale catalog.

One stock item, two install methods

The cylindrical keratin stick is the only bond in our range that a stylist can install either way: melt it with a fusion tool, or clamp it inside a micro-bead and leave the heat out entirely. For a salon that serves both preferences, or a distributor who cannot predict which method a client works to, that is one SKU instead of two — and it is the practical reason I-tip stays the volume seller in this category.

Where it loses: the bond is round, so on very fine hair it can be felt and occasionally seen through the top section. That is what flat-tip keratin exists to solve. If the client rules out heat and glue altogether, micro ring loop is the honest answer instead of this one.
